Sunroom Extension in Penzance

B

This property is a single-storey dwelling, sitting amongst similar detached properties, with stunning views of both Acton Castle and St Michael’s Mount. The property’s original conservatory did not visually compliment the building and was not thermally efficient for the Cornish climate it is in.

3HW were appointed to replace this conservatory with a more solid construction, allowing the client to have a new dining / living space as well as a new principal entrance to the property.

The new sunroom keeps the light and open feel of a conservatory, with large windows and glass doors, but allows for a more comfortable space, opening into the property’s existing kitchen. The new design is sleek and modern but uses stone plinth to visually tie it in with the original building, creating a contemporary, yet cohesive, design.
