Helston Bowling Club Pavilion
A Redesign of Helston's Bowling Club Pavilion
3HW were asked by Helston Bowling Club to redesign and secure Planning Permission for their new Bowling Pavilion. The brief was to review the current facilities, the condition of the existing building and to understand and cater for the future needs of the club. This included redesigning the kitchen area, increasing changing room space and improving and increasing the toilet facilities. Part of the idea behind this brief was to create a building which is much more accessible and could become more of an asset to the community.
This scheme had to be sympathetic to the location of the building which is in a Conservation Area and is surrounded by the newly renovated Grylls Monument Public Realm works. 3HW has designed the new toilet block and market store in this area for Helston Town Council and was very careful to ensure that the design worked well with the future plans for the Bowling Club.
Planning Permission has been granted, with the building work to take place once funding has been secured.
